US Glass Fence Launches Training & Certification Program
Expert-led course offers everything needed to set-up a successful glass fence business.

Milford, CT – US Glass Fence LLC, a leading installer of frameless glass fences and railings in the New England area, today announced that it will be running a monthly Training and Certification Program at its new location in Milford, Connecticut. This is a great opportunity to learn the secrets of installing frameless glass fences and railings from the experts.

The five-day training courses will be open to anyone who would like to learn the trade – from experienced fencing and glass contractors looking to expand their service portfolio to those who have no experience and are looking to get in on the ground floor of this exciting opportunity.

Frameless glass fencing consists of tempered glass panels secured to the ground using small stainless steel posts. The result is an immensely strong fence barrier that offers clear visibility in and out of the protected area. The fences can be used for pool enclosures, and are also rated for use as safety railings.

The fee for the course is $2,650 and expert-led instruction will be included as follows:

Day One – Introduction to glass fencing. Design, applications, marketing, building codes, and more.

Day Two – Site measuring, fence design, and ordering glass from fabricators. Glass handling, storage, transportation, and moving. Templating, CAD, and 3D measuring.

Day Three – Hands-on installation of frameless glass fence into patios, walls, and solid surfaces. Assembly of glass panels, positioning, marking, drilling, alignment for perfection, mixing and installation of cement, cleaning and tidying up. Installation of hinges and locks. Bonding.

Day Four – Hands-on installation of edge-mounted and surface-mounted patio glass railings on decks, landings, and stairs. Installation of wall-mounted stand-off posts and Juliet Balconies. Cap rails and handrail installation.

Day Five – Cleaning and coating glass. Scratch removal and polishing. Removal and replacement of glass panels. Introduction to stainless steel railings, Sneeze Guards, and partitions. Q&A Session.

A course manual and Personal Protection and Safety kit will also be included. Additional details about each course day is available via the company website

Students who complete the course will become ‘Certified Installers’ and eligible to purchase the exclusive range of tools, materials, and fittings from US Glass Fence.

“Frameless glass fences are one of the hottest new trends in landscape, architectural, and pool design. We’ve seen popularity continue to increase for glass fences as they provide unobstructed views of pools and surrounding landscapes. Our training courses will deliver all of the secrets to success for designing and installing these elegant, timeless, frameless glass fences,” said Robin Leigh owner of US Glass Fence.

Discounted pricing for training courses is available when more than one person signs-up (see website for details). There will also be future opportunities for growth for all students who complete the course including membership in a Partnership Program.
