During this time, rookie reporter Ryan Harper sees dark things he wants to discover. However, he doesn’t bargain on falling in love during such a tumultuous time and he struggles with the delicate balance of unleashing the horror of Allison’s past sans breaking her in the process.

“Romance was perhaps the last thing on Allie’s business until she meets Harper. The rookie reporter is drawn to Allie and has ramped up efforts to win her love and trust,” says Dutton.
