How it Works

After downloading the app, you can send invites to as many family members, friends, or relatives as you like. Once they’ve set up a profile, you’ll see their picture appear on the map. You can view where they are right now, where they’ve been, the route they’ve taken to get there, and how long they’ve been at that location.

Set names for various locations to receive a notification when members arrive at or leave certain places, such as school, work, or grandma’s house.

The map allows you to track circle members in real-time, so you can see them “moving” as they complete their journey, including their average speed.

Via a single screen, you can access all the other Findmykid’s tools, including insights into phone usage, and see the extent to which your child is protected by the app’s features. This unified screen reduces complexity and keeps everything important in one place.

Regarding the latter, kids are monitored both on the map and through how they’re using their phones. If you notice a decrease in their protection level—say, if the dial goes from 80% to 50%—this could indicate that they’re spending too much time on their phone, or have revoked the app’s permissions. Should this happen, you’ll receive suggested actions to boost the protection level.
